V&V ENGINEER

You will be responsible for verifying and validating that the design of the system meets its intended functionality and performance requirements. You will develop verification/validation plans, SOPs, WINs, and protocols. You will execute and document verification/validation on the system and subsystem level. You will review system and subsystem requirements created by systems engineers and HW/SW development engineers. You will support system/subsystem integration activities by executing tests, doing troubleshooting, and the first layer of root cause analysis. You must feel comfortable being under pressure and with high visibility towards management and thrive in highly collaborative and agile teamwork.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an engineering degree (ETH/FH or equivalent) in a relevant field specializing in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or biotechnology.
• You are at ease with preparing and executing verification/validation protocols and documenting results.
• You have hands-on experience in HW and/or SW testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis during system integration. 
• You have more than 3 years of professional experience as a V&V engineer or systems engineer in multidisciplinary new product development projects in a highly regulated industry. 
• You have knowledge and experience of standardized systems engineering methodologies. Experience in the V-model system development lifecycle is a plus.
• You are enthusiastic about grasping and demonstrating complex interrelationships and are a very independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player with initiative as well as pronounced target group-oriented communication skills.
• You are fluent in English. German knowledge is a plus. 
• A valid work permit is a prerequisite and only direct applicants will be taken into consideration (no agencies).
