SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER FOR LUCULLUS®

Our engineers develop next-generation technologies that change how biopharma digitizes and automates bioprocess development to fulfill its purpose and bring highly demanded new medications to patients. Lucullus® is constantly being developed as it needs to handle different kinds of information from innumerable sources within highly complex and constantly evolving environments. Our vision is to maintain this leading position and stand out significantly from all other bioprocess software applications. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

RESPONSABILITIES

• Gather and Analyze Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
• Document Specifications: Create clear and detailed requirement specifications, user stories, use cases, (UML) diagrams, acceptance criteria, etc.. Maintain software documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure Product Quality: Validate that requirements are complete, feasible, and align with stakeholder needs.
• Interface with Teams: Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders (partners, customers, PO, software development, business & quality department) and the development team to ensure alignment.
• Manage Requirement Changes: Track and manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist the QA team by providing test cases and derived from requirements, ensuring all functionality is covered, and helping resolve any ambiguities or issues during test execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Help optimize the requirements engineering process for efficiency and quality. 

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a degree in computer science, life sciences, engineering or a similar education, and three years of experience in business analysis, engineering or software development requirements and relevant certification (e.g. IREB).
• Clear understanding of software development and requirements engineering in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid models
• Knowledge of tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Office
• Open-minded, versatile, enthusiastic driven to take on new challenges across the board and to make a difference.
• You are goal-oriented, use systematic and structured approaches, work well independently, have strong cooperation and problem-solving skills, and interact in an international and intercultural setting 
• English is required, German is a plus and a valid work permit for Switzerland is mandatory.
