SOFTWARE ENGINEER C++ 

You are part of our Software Developers Team. In this role, you develop our next-generation technologies that change how biopharma digitizes and automates bioprocess development to fulfill its purpose. You like to work independently and use your strong problem-solving abilities in a goal-oriented way while collaborating and communicating well in international and intercultural settings - English is required, and German is a plus. Engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas enabling us to access new fields. As a software engineer, you will collaborate with your colleagues in specific projects as we push our technology forward. You are an all-rounder who is familiar with the development of backends, networking, databases, business logic, and UI front ends. Furthermore, you will handle 3rd-level support issues for our customers. You find inspiration in directly interacting with customers' specific applications and equipment to meet their unique needs in workflow optimization. You are open-minded, versatile, enthusiastic to take on new challenges across the board, and driven to make a difference.

YOUR PROFILE

Among your responsibilities, you will:

• Graduate in computer science or an equivalent IT education
• Programming in C/C++, several years of professional experience
• Knowledge of automation/communication protocols advantageous (e.g. OPC, Modbus)
• Highly preferable confidence in using Qt and front-end programming with QML
• Preferably you have experience in Python, SQL, and Oracle databases
• Experience with (bio-)process engineering is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
• Operating system knowledge of Windows and Linux
• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite is highly welcomed
• A valid work permit is a must
