Securecell AG and DataHow AG held the Get-together, Learn, and Connect event on January 18, 2024, in Leiden Bio Science Park in the Netherlands about Upstream Process Data Analytics and Modeling and Artificial Intelligence in Biopharma.
Data Analytics (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc) holds great potential for upstream bioprocess development and manufacturing. Logically, it has found widespread applications in recent years, with different approaches being investigated across industries. With the area of Leiden being a hotbed of biotechnology including pharma, cellular food, and enzyme production (among others), this get-together meeting seeks to stimulate an exchange on the topic across the industry.
We were honored to have Pieter Berends from Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine deliver an insightful talk on data analytics and process modeling in cell-culturing and monoclonal antibody manufacturing.
Wouter Touw (dsm-firmenich) and Hans Roubos (dsm-firmenich) provided the grounds for the following networking and exchange opportunity by presenting a topic about driving bioprocess development through advanced data analytics from lab to production scale.
